Another outstanding performance. We have been coming to this meet for several years with some mighty good teams, and never had a performance like we had this year. From field events to sprints to distance everyone contributed tonight. Not only did we place well, but the times and distances were very good for this time of year. Probably most encouraging was our performance relative to any other 3A school. Simply put, this meet was a very dominant performance by the best team in the state.

Among the notable performances: Jess Elliott's 38-2 for another PR and our first placewinner in the shot put EVER; Jenny Funk's 10:01 (6th best in the nation) 3000m followed by a 2:20 800m; Camille Jordan's 6th place in the 60m; 4x8, 4x1, and 4x4 teams all winning (with the 4x4 in a new meet record). On those relays Ali Kirsch and Maggie Lyendecker's times stand out, and Meggan Reed and Katie Krei's 400 times.

We now know that we can compete with the best in the state. Now, people will be coming after you. Don't rest on what you have done, continue to look forward to what you want to accomplish at the end of the season. Have a great break, and will see you all back on the 25th.
