Announcements April 11th- April 16th

Ø Team dinner this week on MONDAY is at City High cafeteria hosted by the Miller’s.  Items to bring:

Ø Freshman- drinks (Milk, soda, juice, lemonade)

Ø Sophomores- deserts (Cookies, bars, cupcakes, ice cream)

Ø Juniors- bread (French bread, muffins, quick breads, dinner rolls)

Ø Seniors- fruit/salads (Tossed w/dressings, jello, pasta, fruit)

Ø April 16^th is the annual Iowa Football spring game.  We will participate in the stadium clean-up after the game at approximately 2:30pm as a fundraiser for Little Hawk athletics.  All track & field athletes are expected to attend.

Ø We are looking at a more formal recognition of our seniors on Wednesday May 4th.  Details will be coming out later in the month.

Ø A meet was added on April 26^th at Keokuk High School.  Athletes not competing in the Drake Relays will compete in this meet.

Ø We will practice this Saturday, April 16th.  Practice will begin at 9:00am.

 

IMPORTANT DATES: April 12th: Clinton Relays.  Varsity only meet leave at 1:45pm. April 14th: West Branch Relays.  JV only meet. April 16th: UI football spring game.  Stadium clean-up afterward. April 21st: Forwald/Coleman Relays @City High.  Varsity/JV meet. April 23rd: University of Iowa home meet
