On-Line Entries:

This year we will be using a Finish Lynx timing system for all events.  As a result, our entry procedures will be slightly different than in the past.  If you have questions or difficulties with entries, please e-mail Terry Coleman ASAP.  Please be sure to get your entries in by the following deadlines:

Ÿ     You must create a team and choose a username and password to use the system.

Ÿ     Follow the on screen directions to enter relays and individuals

 

Entry Period

Ÿ     Beginning on Monday, May 3^rd, you may enter/edit your entries

Ÿ     DO NOT SELECT ÒDECLAREÓ UNLESS YOU ARE CERTAIN YOUR LINE-UP IS FINAL!

Ÿ     Changes can be made until 9:00am on Monday, May 10^th

 

Declaration Deadline

Ÿ     When your line-up is final, click the ÒDeclareÓ button to submit your team.  If you donÕt click ÒDeclareÓ, your team will not be registered for the meet. 

Deadline:  9:00am Monday, May 10^th

 

Changes/substitutions/scratches

Ÿ     Your declared entries should be as accurate as possible.  If there are changes that need to be made, please send those by e-mail before you arrive at the meet.  Any scratches can be made when you arrive the meet.  With the late entry deadline, substitutions will be allowed only in the event of injury.  There will be a coaches meeting at 4:15pm for any final instructions.

 

Entry Limits:.

á      Unlimited entrants in all individual events and relays

á      With moving the MVC supermeet this year, many of you may still have some questions regarding who will be in your district/state meet line ups.  If you have people that you would like to run for this purpose, enter them as an unattached athlete or relay and they will not count towards team points or individual awards.  Please do not enter potential state meet participants as scoring athletes as it would not be fair to the other JV entrants.

á      We will seed this meet prior to your arrival to the meet based on times/distances submitted

á      Please check in at the press box upon your arrival to get final information.

 

Awards: 

Medals will be given for 1^st-3^rd place for each event.

 

Trainer:   

There will be a trainer on site to deal with injuries.  Ice will be available for injuries only, for general use please bring your own.

 

Time Schedule:

We will start promptly at 5:00 with all field events and the 3000m.  The shuttle hurdle relay will begin at 5:30 to allow long jump and high jump to finish.  All other events will follow in order, so tell your athletes to be warmed up and ready to go.

 

 

Scoring:

 Only 2 runners in individual events and 1 relay team will be scored.

Results

            Results will be available on the City High Track web site on Wednesday following the meet.
