Little Hawks cruise

"We actually scored 15 more points than last year at this meet," City coach Terry Coleman said. "In every individual running event, every person scored."

Nelle Trefz won the 3,000- and 800-meters for City, Camille Jordan won the 100, and Jessica Elliott won the discus. The Little Hawks also won the 4x800, sprint medley and 4x400 relays.

Fort Madison Invitational

• WEST HIGH: The Women of Troy broke three meet records and took second place at the Fort Madison Invitational on Tuesday.

Mount Pleasant won with 155 points, while West scored 145.

The Women of Troy set meet records in the shuttle hurdle, 4x800- and 4x100-meter relays.

Individual winners were Lindsey Windauer in the 200, Robdu Adam in the 3,000 and Steph Koepp in the discus.

"We went into this trying to run a few relays a little better to prepare for the Drake relays positioning," West coach Mike Parker said.

• IMS: Iowa Mennonite School's Carleen Perez took second in the 100-meter dash.

Perez finished the race in 14.4 seconds.

IMS' Hattie Roszell was third in the 220-yard dash, and the IMS sprint medley team was third.
